Kashiwa Cross-cultural Center (KCC) was established in May 2016. Kashiwa City has appointed Kashiwa International Relations Association (KIRA), a specified non-profit organization, as the designated manager. KIRA manages and operates KCC.
The purpose of KCC is to promote "harmonious coexistence" among Kashiwa citizens by focusing on "exchange" and "support”. KCC is generally involved in activities related to international exchange in Kashiwa City.
KCC's main feature is that all of our activities are carried out by volunteers, including gathering information for projects, planning, and implementation.
Support Programs: Free legal and administrative consultation for foreigners, Japanese language classes, interpretation and translation services, and the opening of Multilingual Support Center for foreigners in times of disaster
